Nurturing children through a healthy lifestyle by encouraging good nutrition and regular exercise to avoid the increasing trend in childhood obesity. Increased vigilance also prevents the unhealthy effects of prolonged screen time and blue-light exposure.

Our History
Barker Road Methodist Church Kindergarten has been rebranded as BRMC Little Lights Preschool - Barker was established on 15 August 1967 with Mrs Joyce Foster, Lay Missionary appointed as the first principal.
BRMC Little Lights Preschool - Barker is an outreach arm of Barker Road Methodist Church (BRMC), enjoying close proximity and spiritual affinity with the Methodist Church in Singapore and the ACS family of schools.
Our strength lies in providing quality teaching, promoting bilingualism, training our pupils to be self-disciplined, caring, risk-taking, knowledgeable, open-minded, reflective, well-balanced and God-fearing individuals.
Beyond intellectual rigour and high academic standards, a strong emphasis is placed on nurturing the inner spiritual health and emotional intelligence of each child. BRMC Little Lights Preschool - Barker aims to equip students with the essential foundation to become compassionate thinkers, lifelong learners and informed, effective contributors in local and global affairs in the 21st century.

We are blessed to have all of you, parents as partners in the education of our children. Our proprietary programme has earned our sister preschool, BRMC Little Lights Preschool - Barker the only faith-based preschool in Singapore with the IB PYP accreditation. BRMC Little Lights Preschool - Vanda will have its equivalent quality accreditation framework.
As our children are faced with a society which is increasingly volatile, uncertain, complex, and ambiguous, we believe that we must not just be good educators, but stewards of their holistic childhood development. We will continue to build on our strong legacy foundation with Christ-Centred principles and practices, and prepare our children to be effective members both at home and in the community.
